New Year's Eve tea

Enormous rib eye "steak" with roast potatoes, red cabbage and creamy mustard sauce.

Dinner with my parents

I didn't have my phone at the table (and I was really hungry) so no photographs, I'm afraid...

We ate roasted haunch of venison with buttery mash and delicious cabbage/sprout stirfry with nuts and things, followed with the salted caramel chocolate brownies that I made last night with ice cream.

Ironically, having eaten So Very Much over Christmas and all, I've not really been able to blog my eatings for a week or so...

Boxing day breakfast

Leftover smoked salmon with garlic mayonnaise (tasty Christmas present) from Isle of Wight Garlic Farm.

I also had some sneaky scrambled egg, but that's a secret, as my other half is (inexplicably) very averse.

I've not really eaten for a day or two as I've had a cold and have been feeling a bit strange.
